He Knows What You Need | God Morning #12

God morning my brothers and sisters, 

Wow! End of May already! In Ohio, what most people say as April showers brings May flowers, feels more like May showers bring humid June. LOL.  But I am ready for summer, and I hope you all are too. 

As a coach there is so much need out there, allow me to ask you…What is it that you need? Are you in need? I love that my grown-up sons are home, and we get to spend time together. My oldest son, who is currently in law school, has come home for a couple of weeks. He shared with me how he can't do anything special with his girlfriend this summer since he's pinching pennies with his small research assistant job. He was a bit down about it, but I reminded him that it was temporary because he is working thru law school and that he is setting himself up well for the future. 

This conversation made me reflect on how God knows what we need even before we ask Him. It reminded me of a time in my early fatherhood journey when I was working 3-4 jobs just to make ends meet. One night, my wife informed me that we were $250 short of meeting our financial needs for the month. We had nothing left, and I was broken, scared, and deep in prayer. But God already knew our need. 

That same week, a cashier's check for exactly $250 appeared in our mailbox. To this day, I have no idea who it came from, but God knew and provided exactly what we needed. On my knees, stressed and scared, God had me. That was such a turning point in our lives, I can honestly say that our lives turned around right about then, and we've never looked back.  He always had us and He has you!  If you are going thru tough times, let me encourage you with our Friday Fly-by word today and it comes from Philippians 4:19 and it says "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." So so true! 

Take comfort in knowing that He is always aware of our needs and ready to provide. Trust in His perfect timing and abundant provision.  HE HAS YOU!  So, thanks for reading and hoping this encourages you today and this weekend.  Love you all and as always, Be blessed and go be a blessing!
