Boldness | God Morning #7

Updated: Aug 11

God Morning my brothers and sisters! Wishing you all a great Friday!  This week, as a business coach in a challenging market, I ran into an unexpected heartfelt scenario with a client who was on the brink of giving up on the business he was so influential in and that he loved. The mounting pressures, the unique market, low inventory and concerns about feeding his team made him feel it was all becoming too tough to continue.

It brought me to think about our Friday Fly-by word and it comes from Luke 18:35-43, and it says '…a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening.  They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”  He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”  Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”  “Lord, I want to see,” he replied.  Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”  Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.'

Such a powerful story that tells us about a blind man who, despite the discouraging scenario around him and the negative voices around him telling him to shut up and perhaps his own doubts, called out to Jesus for mercy as He passed by. His persistent faith not only restored his sight but also transformed his life, inspiring those around him.

This story resonates deeply, especially in difficult times. My client, and maybe yourself included, was like that blind man, feeling overwhelmed and ready to quit. Do not even entertain it, but remember this passage, remember not just the power of persistence, but the importance of speaking up with what you need and reach out for help when needed and most importantly, hold onto faith—even when internal and external voices tell us to be quiet.

Let's take this lesson into our hearts.  Keep the faith, ask boldly for what you need, and don't allow doubts or the discouragement of others to stop you from pursuing what you love. Miracles happen when we persist, despite the odds.

WOW again, I certainly hope this message resonates with you, it did me and I wanted to share it with you all.  Remember, you are blessed now go be a blessing.  Love you all!  Have a tremendous weekend!
